In 2019, Maryland became the 12th Division I program to reach 1,000 wins. Currently, the Terrapins own a record of 1,029-431 (.705), which is 11th in NCAA history.
The Terrapins have played 27 NCAA Tournaments and advanced to 13 Sweet Sixteens, 10 Elite Eights and five Final Fours.
For years, the Terps dominated the ACC, winning 13 league titles. After their move to the Big Ten in 2014, their dominance has continued, with the Terrapins winning regular season titles and four tournament titles in six years.
The Terps own a 100 percent graduation rate under Brenda Frese.
Every student-athlete under Frese has won a title in her four years at Maryland.
The Terrapins have been ranked in 194 consecutive Associated Press polls, second only to Baylor (319) and Connecticut (509).
Eighteen Terrapins have been drafted into the WNBA, including 14 under Brenda Frese. Currently, seven Terps are in the WNBA. In the 2019 WNBA Finals, Maryland had five alums between the two teams. Three former Terrapins - Kristi Toliver, Tianna Hawkins and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, won the WNBA Championship with the Washington Mystics.
