  • The Terps made numerous strides in 2015 under second year head coach Steve Aird. Maryland increased its win total by five and its conference win total by two. The Terps began the season 10-1, matching the previous season’s win total.
  • Maryland set the XFINITY Center Pavilion attendance record with 1,752 fans in the team’s season opener vs. Illinois on Sept. 25. Since Aird has come to Maryland, the Terps have set five of the top 10 attendance records in program history.
  • The Terps upset then-No. 12 Ohio State in straight sets on Nov. 6, the team’s first win over a ranked opponent since 2010.
  • Maryland announced its signing class, which was ranked No. 16 nationally. This is the first time the Terps have had a ranked recruiting class. Outside hitter Gia Milana comes to Maryland as the No. 15 recruit and the Terps’ first-ever Under Armour First Team All-American.
  • Senior outside hitter Adreené Elliott was named All-Big Ten honorable mention and AVCA All-American honorable mention.
