- Maryland compiled a program-record 17 victories, including a single-season best 16 consecutive wins, en route to claiming the Big Ten Tournament and regular season titles and advancing the NCAA Championship game. The Terps fell to North Carolina in overtime in the NCAA title game.
- It was the fifth NCAA Final Four appearance in head coach John Tillman’s six seasons at the helm, in addition to the fourth NCAA Championship game appearance.
- The Terps featured eight players who earned USILA All-America honors – the most in the nation. Midfielders Bryan Cole and Isaiah Davis-Allen were both named to the first team.
- Junior attackman Matt Rambo was spectacular down the stretch for the Terps, posting 34 of his 75 points in the final six games of the season – all postseason games. Rambo’s 23 points in the NCAA Tournament were a program record.
- Maryland also had six players selected in the first 19 picks of the 2016 Major League Lacrosse Draft – a draft record.
