- The Terrapins continued their climb through the national and Big Ten rankings this season, finishing third in the Big Ten championships in April. Maryland won the Firestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio in the fall. They earned their first team win since 2010.
- Sophomore David Kocher and senior Tom Harris both earned NCAA Regionals bids as individuals – the first time two Terrapins competed in NCAAs since they earned a team bid in 2007. Kocher won the Firestone Invitational for his first collegiate individual win. Harris earned his first career collegiate individual win at the Janney VCU Shootout last September. He tied for first at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate in April. Kocher earned First Team All-Big Ten honors. Both Harris and Kocher were named to the Division I PING All-Northeast Region Team.
