Middle blocker Hailey Murray started in every set as just a freshman, leading the Terps with 117 total blocks.
• Despite a losing season, the Maryland volleyball team made great strides under first-year head coach Steve Aird. The program averaged 1,539 fans per match in College Park, a more than 350 percent increase from 336 the previous season. The Terrapins ranked 25th in the nation in attendance in their first season in the Big Ten.
• The Terps set four attendance records in 2014. Maryland drew a program-record 4,522 against Penn State on Oct. 23.
• Senior outside hitter Ashleigh Crutcher recorded 387 kills in 2015 and finished her career with 1,342 kills, ranking fifth all-time in the Maryland record books.
• Maryland played its most difficult schedule in program history as the Terrapins played 12 matches against top-25 opponents. The Terps were able to take sets against No. 15 Purdue, No. 18 Ohio State and No. 11 Nebraska.
• The Terps welcomed head coach Steve Aird and assistants Adam Hughes, Kristin Kenney and Stephen Yates to lead the team in the prestigious Big Ten Conference. Aird helped Penn State to two NCAA titles as an assistant.
