• Maryland won its third consecutive conference regular season and tournament titles in 2014, defeating rival-Indiana in the Big Ten Tournament at Ludwig Field. Mael Corboz and Zack Steffen were named Big Ten Tournament Most Valuable Offensive and Defensive Player, respectively.
• After a rocky start to its first season in the Big Ten, the Terps went unbeaten in 11 straight games leading up to the NCAA Tournament.
• Maryland boasted a league-high five players on the All-Big Ten list, including first-teamers Mael Corboz, Dan Metzger, Alex Shinsky and Chris Odoi-Atsem.
• Following the season, goalkeeping sensation Zack Steffen signed a professional contract to play with SC Freiburg in Germany. Dan Metzger (DC United) and Alex Shinsky (Chicago Fire) were each drafted in the MLS SuperDraft, marking the 12th consecutive year that Maryland has had at least one player taken in the draft.
