WOMEN'S TENNIS
Overall: 10-12 • Big Ten: 3-8
• The Maryland tennis team finished with 10 wins, the most since 2011. The team has improved its win total in each season under third-year head coach Daria Panova.
• Senior Welma Luus finished her final singles season with a record of 15-5, including a team beat nine-match winning streak in the middle of the season. Luus also formed the Terps’ top doubles team with freshman Ekaterina Tour. The pair was ranked by the ITA late in the season.
• Tour burst onto the scene in her first season, finishing the year playing in the top singles position. She finished with 11 wins.
• Sophomore Alexandra Stanova started the season as the No. 1 singles player for Maryland before being injured. Her biggest win came against All-Big Ten selection Ronit Yurovsky.
