WOMEN'S GOLF
8th - Big Ten Tournament
• Under first year head coach Diana Cantu, the Terps thrived in their first season in the Big Ten, finishing eighth in their inaugural Big Ten Tournament.
• Juliet Vongphoumy – arguably one of the top female golfers in Maryland history - won the Mary Fossum Award as the conference player with the lowest stroke average relative to par this season and she tied for second at the Big Ten Women’s Golf Championship at the Fort Golf Resort in Indianapolis. She was also tagged a First Team All-Big Ten selection and won the league’s sportsmanship award.
• Vongphoumy – a two-time Big Ten Women’s Golfer of the Week - became the first Terrapin to compete in the NCAA Regionals since 2012. She finished 22nd at the Raleigh Regionals with a three-day score of 224.
