INDOOR

TRACK & FIELD

Women: 8th - Big Ten Championships

• The Maryland women’s indoor track & field team put up big performances, led by seniors Thea LaFond and Amber Melville, in the Terrapins’ first season in the Big Ten.

• LaFond and Melville represented the Terps at the 2015 NCAA Indoor Championships. LaFond picked up first and second team All-American honors in the high jump and triple jump, respectively, while Melville earned second team All-American honors in the high jump.

• Melville also won the indoor Big Ten title in the high jump. Melville, LaFond and Chioma Onyekwere were all named to the indoor All-Big Ten team.
