ANTHONY
PAPIO
- Has developed from walk-on to one of the most dependable players in Maryland history. Has played in 206 career games, the eighth most of any active player in the nation.
- (2015) Had the best season of his career in 2015, batting .262 with a career high 16 doubles and six home runs. Also tied a career high with seven stolen bases and slugged a career best .425.
- (2015) Flourished in the postseason and earned Los Angeles Regional All-Tournament honors after notching the winning RBI in the regional title game against UCLA.
- (2016, as of 4/11) Has served as one of Maryland’s team leaders in 2016 while serving as an option all over the outfield

- Honorable Mention All-Big Ten selection
- Represented Maryland on the All-Big Ten Sportsmanship Team
- Recognized by Mark Turgeon - for his leadership on a team that won 27 games and advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first time in 13 seasons
- Prior to his redshirt junior season after joining Maryland from Georgia Tech, dedicated himself to the weight room and dropped 18 pounds and six (6) percent fat
- Tireless worker who often organized late night shooting sessions with teammates and team managers at XFINITY Center throughout the season

- Led the team in dual match victories (11) and tied for the lead in Big Ten victories (6) this season
- Set example for teammates as one of team's leaders, team spokesperson in post match interviews and ambassador for the program

- School Record holder- Indoor 800m
- Worked his way to the top of record books
- Only male senior student athlete on current roster- helping to set the standard for teammates
ANDREW ZELLER // FOOTBALL
- A mainstay of the Maryland offensive line the past three seasons
- Served as President of Maryland’s chapter for Uplifting Athletes; in addition to leading many other community service initiatives for the team
- Top role model and leader in Terrapin locker room
- Two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection
