University of Maryland

Over the last 20 years, the Men’s and Women’s Golf programs have made a combined 25 NCAA Tournament appearances, won 31 team titles and 32 individual titles. In total, Terrapin golfers have earned 25 All-Conference accolades. Currently, both programs are full of young talent, ready to compete on the national stage.

In order for Maryland Golf to compete in the Big Ten and nationally, an indoor hitting facility is a necessity. With a projected cost of $1.5 million, an indoor hitting facility will allow Maryland Golfers the chance to perfect their craft year-round in any conditions and allow them to keep their skills sharp and their scores lower than ever.

This project will be transformative for both golf programs. Not only will this facility enable us to recruit top talent from across the country, but it will also give our student-athletes the ability to continue developing their skills during the winter months. This facility will serve as a home for past, present, and future members of the Terp golf family.
