Golf Player Development Center
University of Maryland

Over the last 20 years, the Men’s and Women’s Golf programs have made a combined 25 NCAA Tournament appearances, won 31 team titles and 32 individual titles. In total, Terrapin golfers have earned 25 All-Conference accolades. Currently, both programs are full of young talent, ready to compete on the national stage.

In order for Maryland Golf to compete in the Big Ten and nationally, an indoor hitting facility is a necessity. With a projected cost of $1.5 million, an indoor hitting facility will allow Maryland Golfers the chance to perfect their craft year-round in any conditions and allow them to keep their skills sharp and their scores lower than ever.

The addition of a golf-specific indoor practice facility will take our program’s competitiveness to the next level. The ability to continue to develop when faced with inclement weather will take away any disadvantage we’ve had in the past. Adding this resource to our already first-class Maryland product will have a tremendous positive impact on our program. This facility will add to our beautiful Holman Short Game practice facility.
