PRIDE 2.0

The Maryland Pride 2.0 uniform and helmet design were inspired by characteristics specific to the iconic Maryland state flag. Included were aspects of the black, red and gold state colors and distinct, segmented design patterns found on the Maryland flag as it waves.

SPECIAL OPS

Under Armour and Maryland have teamed up to produce some of the most unique uniforms in all of college football and at the same time provided fans with unique opportunities to join the team with special Black Out and White Out games when the Terps don their distinctive Black Ops and White Ops uniforms, which made their debuts in the 2012 season.

FLASHBACK

Inspired by the uniforms of the 1961 Terrapin Football Team, the Under Armour Flashback uniform channels its design from the Terps’ first-ever victory over current Big Ten rival, Penn State. The Team wore these uniforms against Penn State on October 24, 2015 in M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

STAR SPANGLED

When Maryland took to Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium on Sept. 13, 2014 to take on West Virginia it did so in special uniforms inspired by the Battle of Baltimore at Fort McHenry, which took place from Sept. 12 to Sept. 15, 1814. Francis Scott Key used that battle as the basis for his poem "Defence of Fort McHenry," which was later set to music and became "The Star-Spangled Banner."
