• Coached National Player of the Year, Linnea Gonzales, three All-Americans, and six All-Region honorees

• Maryland went 22-3 on the year and picked up 16 wins over ranked teams, eight over top 10 teams.

Women's Basketball

• Led team to 20th conference title with Big Ten regular season title, which was the Terps’ fourth in five years

• Also led Terps to second straight NCAA Second Round

• Big Ten Coach of the Year for the third time in her career

• Maryland went 29-5 overall, 15-3 in Big Ten play and picked up three wins over ranked teams

• Earned her 500th career win at Nebraska, and the team won their 1,000th game in program history-one of just 12 teams to reach that milestone

Gymnastics

• Coach Nelligan, reigning Big Ten Coach of the year for gymnastics continues to grow the Maryland gymnastics program securing the teams’ second consecutive NCAA Regionals appearance.

• The Terps ended last season ranked No. 26 in the nation and in the 2019 season enter Big Ten Championships ranked 27 th in the nation.

• Coached the team to a finish as the No. 28 ranked team in the nation, their highest ranking entering Regionals since 2013.

• Enters the 2019 season having secured one of the top recruiting classes in the region.

CATHY REESE
Women's Lacrosse

• Has led the 2019 women’s lacrosse team to an 18-1 record and 5th straight Big Ten Regular Season Championship with 11 wins over top-25 teams and eight wins over top-10 teams.

• Became the all-time winningest coach at Maryland, with a record of 266-22, passing her college coach who won seven National Championships, Cindy Timchal

• 2018 Big Ten Coach of the Year, leading that team to a 20-2 record, Big Ten Regular Season and Tournament Championships and the program’s 10th straight Final Four

• Coached six All-Americans in 2018 including the Big Ten Attacker, Defender and Goalkeeper of the Year

• On the 2019 team, has a nation-best seven Preseason All-Americans and players on the Tewaaraton Watch List and currently has the nation’s leader in save percentage and has the third ranked scoring defense in the country.
