• Captain and leader of the 18-1 No. 1 Maryland women’s lacrosse team.
• One of the best defenders in the country, leading the Terps with 17 caused turnovers and anchoring a defense that is ranked third in the country, only allowing 7.47 goals per game.
• Was the 2018 Big Ten Defender of the Year and a First Team All-American.
• Is on the Tewaaraton Watch List and a 2019 Preseason All-American.
AJ LEE
Baseball
• Voted a team captain before the season by his teammates and is the Terps’ most vocal leader.
• Has served as a mentor to a young group of position player teammates. Selflessly jumped in and played center field, a spot he hadn’t played since high school.
• Has scored 39 runs, hit 13 doubles and has 61 hits the last two seasons while playing solid defense at shortstop.
• Leads the team with 16 steals over the last two years.

Men's Soccer
Sr., Louisville, Ky.
• Captained the Maryland men’s soccer team to the 2018 National Championship. His leadership and composure played an enormous role in Maryland’s late season turnaround and NCAA Tournament run.
• Scored the winning goal in the National Championship game. Led Maryland with eight goals and added an assist.
• Named the Most Outstanding Player of the College Cup. Scored three goals in the NCAA Tournament and assisted on the game winning goals that send the Terps to the Final Four.
• Top Drawer Soccer National Second Team Best XI. First Team All-Big Ten.
• Drafted by the Montreal Impact in the MLS SuperDraft.
LIZ TWILLEY
Volleyball
(Sr., Ijamsville, Md.
• Captain and leader of the volleyball team, leading the Terps to a program best with nine Big Ten wins. Grew up in Maryland, playing both high school and club ball for Maryland based teams.
• Played a key role on this year’s team, standing second on the team with 288 kills (2.59 per set), while also posting 51 blocks, 42 digs and six assists.
• Had match clinching kill in Maryland’s five set win over Ohio State and had 11 kills, a season-best four blocks and two digs in Maryland’s marquee win of the season at #15 Michigan.
• Earned spot on Maryland Invite All-Tournament Team after leading Maryland to two wins, while tallying 33 kills at a .333 percentage, 12 digs and seven blocks.
