• Captain of Maryland’s 2018 National Championship team. Named a captain during the middle of the season and emerged as a leader during Maryland’s late season surge to the title.

• Won the Big Ten Sportsmanship award for men’s soccer for the second consecutive season, going the entire season without picking up a yellow card despite playing defensive midfield and right back.

• Anchored Maryland’s midfield defensively and played a key role in the Terps not giving up a goal for the final 500 minutes of the season.

• Picked up the first two assists of his career in his final season. Played 2,139 minutes and started all 23 matches, barely leaving the field in any of them.

• Started 137 games over four years at shortstop and third base.

• Voted a team captain before the season by his teammates and is the Terps’ most vocal leader.

• Has served as a mentor to a young group of position player teammates. Selflessly jumped in and played center

field, a spot he hadn’t played since high school, at one point this season due to injuries.

• Has scored 39 runs, hit 13 doubles and has 61 hits the last two seasons while playing solid defense at shortstop.

Leads the team with 16 steals over the last two years.
