BRIAN SHAFFER

• Returned for final season at Maryland after missing entire 2016 season due to injury.

• One of the most consistent players for Maryland, leading team in on base percentage and runs scored.

• Ranks inside the top-5 all-time in school history in runs scored with 120 in her career.

• Was sidelined in the fall of 2013 after a serious scooter injury that hospitalized her, before returning to play in 42 games that spring.

• Moved from 2B to 3B midway through the season, and has been a staple for the Terps defensively
